30th annual Pet Parade
March 11th, 2023
Saturday, March 11th the Worth Avenue Pet Parade and Costume Contest thrived because people like to 'show off their pets. Organizer Sherry Frankel of Sherry Frankel's Melangerie said cats, bunnies, a kimono dragon and, of course, local pig celebrity Mona Lisa were all in attendance, but the vast majority were dogs of all sizes and shapes for the 30th annual Pet Parade and Costume Contest.
Categories included large pets (over 36 pounds), medium (16 to 35 pounds) and small (up to 15 pounds) Subcategories included best in show, most unique, most creative and most obedient.
Judges were Mayor Danielle Moore; Jason Schaefer, co-owner of Woofgang Bakery and Grooming; Gregg Shenkar of ABS Real Estate Partners; and Catherine Lewis of Bibi's Boutique.
Winners in each category in class received prizes from area businesses including at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa and The Colony as well as gift certificates to area restaurants and businesses.
