The Salvation Army brought art to the community at The Royal Poinciana Plaza on Saturday, January 21st as a focus ahead of its British Invasion Bash at The Norton Museum of Art April 5th, chaired by Camilla Webster and its new art hub coming soon to West Palm Beach. Farley Rentschler, Xiomi Penn and Jenn Gowdy are also on the host committee for the spring cocktail.
To launch this art hub initiative over thirty children and adults gathered on the courtyard grass in , with each child creating a valentine from one of Camilla Webster’s paintings on Love with the artist, in front of the Paul Labrecque Salon. Taylor Mateo and Lucia Owen’s youngster’s and Steve Watson’s grandchildren all picked up their colored pencils for a good cause.
Susan Cushing, Linda Parker, Xiomi Penn, Farley Rentschler and Jenn Gowdy were on hand volunteering to help with the day that also featured yoga with Stacey Lleuliette and Holly Weston. Nina Yacavino and Denise Fraile were shopping the new LFPB purses and scrunchies with Paul Labreque and Art Pop champagne bookings were ongoing at Virginia Philip. 10% of all sales went to the charity.
