Duaiv

Artist Duaiv originally born in France on July 26th, 1952, DUAIV is a U.S. Citizen since June 2011. He creates paintings that transcend the boundaries of expressionism and impressionism. The techniques, originated by the first French impressionists and the expressionists who followed, are greatly explored by current painters, yet rarely are they mastered with Duaiv’s finesse. The artist currently resides in Fort Lauderdale where he keeps creating amazing paintings. 

He is an impassioned husband to his wife, Magella,  and father to two daughters Kalinka and Vlassevskaia.

As a cellist of international reputation, Duaiv’s earlier years were spent traversing the globe, performing with orchestras and chamber ensembles. In fact, he met Magella at a workshop in Nice when she was dancing ballet for the Opera de Paris.

Duaiv is keenly conscious of an otherwordly, noumenal side of painting, yet he asserts that only through dedication and devotion can the artist aspire his goals.
