Exhibition Monet in Full Light
During the summer of 2023, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco will hold an exhibition event entitled “Monet in Full Light”. The exhibition follows Monet’s work and artist life on the Riviera.
In 1883, half way through his long life and setting in at Giverny, Claude Monet was searching of inspiration and made his first trip to Monte-Carlo, Riviera, which he discovered with his friend Auguste Renoir.
Later Monet returned alone in 1884 and again in 1888 to Monte-Carlo, Roquebrune, Bordighera and Antibes.
The exhibition took place in Monaco, and is one of the largest monographs devoted to Claude Monet in the last decade. The exhibition was an honor of supporting of the Musee Marmottan Monet in Paris.
