On Valentines Day

 

Valentines Day at Bergdorf Goodman’s fragrance boutique was a glamorous scene for the launch of the new ‘Formosa’ eau de Parfum created by Taiwanese philanthropist Shining Sung.  The elegant, crystal bottle is topped with a carved faux jade closure was designed by award winning esigner Marc Rosen who has created bottles for Karl Largerfeld, Chloe, Fendi, etc..  The beautiful fragrance evocative of Taiwan (Formosa is the original name of the island) was created by Firmenich Master Perfumer Honorine Blanc used notes that are indigenous to Taiwan.  Guests enjoyed Champagne and heart shaped pastries to toast the launch and celebrate Valentines Day.  Guests included, former President of the UN Nassir Al-Nasser, Susan Gutfreund, Nizam Kettaneh, Monaco Ambassador to the UN Isabelle Picco, Margie and Michael Stern, Barbara Tober, Sharon Hoge, Connie and Randy Jones, Jessica Zhang, Barbara Portago.

To cap it off a Susan Gutfreund, a close friend, hosted a beautiful dinner in honor of both Formosa and Valentines Day..
