Spoons Palm Beach

Last Thursday evening, Katherine Gage Boulud and Courtney Schlesinger, of Brazilian Court, hosted Friends of Spoons Across America for an intimate cocktail reception at Cafe Boulud to raise awareness of the non-profit in Palm Beach and offer a preview ofthe 8th Annual Spring Benefit to be held at the Metropolitan Club in New York on April 25th, 2024.The organization's mission is to influence the eating habits of young children through hands-on education as "Food Explorers" celebrating the connection to local farmers and the tradition of sharing meals around the family table. While Spoons Across America is based in New York, programming is currently in all 50 states both in schools and after-school settings, and Katherine and Courtney hope to increase the charity's reach in south Florida schools.

Delicious cocktails and hors d'oeuvres by Cafe Boulud were served to the notable Palm Beachers and snowbirds alike, including Sarah Wetenhall, Tom Quick, Pamela Morgan, Catherine and Bryan Carey, Eleanora Kennedy and Robert Rionda, Krystian von Speidel and Nathan Frank, CeCe and Lee Black, Yana and Richard Schlesinger, Stephanie Stokes, Helen Marx, Christine Schott and George Ledes, Lauren Day Roberts, Paige Boller, Ramona Singer, Robin Baker and Robert Leacock, Judy Gilbert, Eileen Judell and David Albenda, Camilla Webster, Nina Yacavino, Denise Fraile, Sophie and Francisco Maduro, Katherine Lande and Kevin Condon, Corina Gugler, Alex Anndra Ontra, Michel Witmer, Lauren Remington Platt and John Royall. The evening was photographed by Annie Watt and the hostesses wore Carolina Herrera.
