The Cathedral, an example of pompous Gothic architecture, began to be built in 1230. The work dragged on for several centuries, and in the twentieth century, the great Antoni Gaudi himself was engaged in the restoration of the interior.
Surrounded by lush greenery and pine forests, Alcúdia is one of the most scenic towns in Mallorca. This wonderfully preserved walled medieval town is also known for its interesting historic monuments, delicious cuisine, and traditional festivals.
The Mercat de Olivar is located in the historic city center of Palma. Constructed in 1951, the bright Mediterranean-style building comprises two perpendicular halls that meet in the middle like two arms that reach out to embrace an open square, inviting you in to discover and connect.
Cinco Jotas ham comes only from pure-bred ibérico pigs raised free range in the dehesas. It’s a long and slow process: a typical 100% ibérico pig takes nearly two years to reach full development, followed by about three years of natural curing in local cellars.
