Iris Apfel

Iris Apfel, a designer whose trademark is oversized glasses, wearing extraordinary jewelry designed by Masha Archer. The sense of electric style helped Iris to make her a Fashion icon. Iris Apfel died on Friday March 1st of 2024 in her home of Palm Beach, she was 102 years old.

On Tuesday, April 18th of 2023 at The Colony Hotel Solarium was held the third annual "Impromptu Portraits — One Night Only" Fundraising Exhibition in Palm Beach. The 2023 Honoree, Fashion Icon Iris Apfel was in attendance, selecting the Palm Beach Police Department as the recipients of the proceeds from the exhibition’s print sales. Palm Beach Chief of Police Nicholas P. Caristo and Major John Scanlan,  and Errol Rappaport were in attendance also.
