Johan & Isabelle met in 1991 and dreamt of the same challenge: running their own business. Seeing the building, they immediately fell in love with this magnificent house. The feeling was right, this would be their future…lovingly restoring the building to its former glory and transforming it into a charming boutique hotel.

ARCHITECTURE - Historic Hospitality

The earliest written mention of the house that was found, dates back to 1390. The building was designed in 1869 by Louis Delacenserie. The former owner ordered the construction of the new house in 1869. The property had a walled garden in the new Jacob van Ooststraat, fully fenced with two small entry gates. The decoration above the door was built on it in 1922 as ordered by Crédit Général Liégeois to enlarge their bank branch, established in the Niklaas Desparsstraat 11.

RESTAURANT LE MYSTIQUE

Exquisite and Refined! Fine cuisine and culinary creations in a stylish atmosphere is what you can expect in Restaurant Le Mystique. We offer a wide choice of traditional French and Belgian dishes combined with influences from all over the world. Chef Gregory Slembrouck is ready to take you to a trip around the world of top gastronomy.

Le Mystique  will open its doors again from Friday June 12. With lots of inspiration and good energy, we are ready to welcome you in our modified concept. Until August 31, we are open daily for dinner from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A 3-course menu for only € 55 per person with daily à la carte suggestions from chef Gregory Slembrouck! Reservations are required.
