The 40th Annual Harriman Cup Polo Match took place on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Bethpage Polo at the Park in Bethpage, NY. Friends gathered to celebrate four decades of polo tradition with America's oldest alumni polo match. Every year, attendees from all over the Tri-State area and beyond enjoy a day of tailgating, dancing, and competitive polo between alumni from Yale and the University of Virginia.

Prizes were awarded for Best Hat, Best Outfit, Best Tailgate, and Best Dog. Alumni from all schools were welcome and invited to attend.

Attendees set up their own tailgates during the match. If guests wanted to leave the cooler at home, all Harriman Cup attendees could purchase passes to the VIP Tent, which featured an open bar and buffet lunch. The funds raised from this year's Harriman Cup benefit the undergraduate polo programs at both UVA and Yale.
